  • NREL recently published a report on a study of the performance of the Skip Buses here in Boulder that curretnly run on B20.The report shows various on-road performance and emissions testing on the B20 buses in comparision with other RTD buses. See the report by clicking here.

  • The Denver Public School district -- with the largest school bus fleet in Colorado -- will use biodiesel fuel made by a Fort Collins company in 50 of its 450 school buses, said Blue Sun Biodiesel on Tuesday. To read a full article: bizjournals

  • We are half way through our class schedule this semester, but we still have more workshops a'comin'. Presentations of our introduction to biodiesel presentation are available in PDF format for viewing: Diesel Mechanics Processor Design Energy Market Overview Biodiesel Market.

  • In partnership with Boulder Biodiesel, members of both groups recently help build a processor in Bogota, Columbia, for las Gaviotas. One year ago at the Sustainable Resources Conference, Paulo Lugari, the founder of Las Gaviotas, met with members of both groups and invited them down to assist in the construction of a biodiesel processor. Thanks to Evan Belser, a draft research paper outlining the trip and the knowledge gained is now available.
